    Our consultancy service is designed to guide educational establishments through the entire process of setting up a successful Forest School program. From the initial planning stages through to the implementation of the program, Katy will provide comprehensive support to ensure the successful establishment and continued growth of your Forest School.

    • Assess your needs and goals for Forest School

    • Create a custom plan tailored to your establishment​

    Training

    • Advice on choosing the correct training provider and ensuring that you gain a recognised Forest School Level 3 Leader qualification 

    • Ongoing support throughout coursework including help with portfolio and handbook

    • Option to observe Katy's Forest School sessions

    Site Development

    • Assess and help you design your outdoor space in order to get the most out of the space

    • Provide guidance on making the site safe and suitable for activities

    Risk Management

    • Advice on risk-benefit assessments for activities

    • Teach staff how to manage risks and ensure safety

    Resource Planning & Funding

    • Help in gathering essential resources and materials and where to find these at affordable prices (or for free!)

    • Advice and support around charities who can support you

    Building a Bank of Activities

    • Provide a collection of simple outdoor activities to get started

    • Gradually introduce more advanced activities as the program develops

    Therapeutic Support

    • Integrate nature-based therapeutic activities to support emotional well-being
